If you were able to track the posts I have made in this blog, you might be wondering why I have a gadget review all of a sudden. Well, I just tried requesting for a trial from WOMWorld just like what Kuya did to review the Nokia E71. In my case, I requested for a Nokia E90 Communicator that shall be returned to WOMWorld after having the opportunity to test it out for a span of 2 weeks. Isn’t that cool? It’s hot! :)

August 22, 2008 · Comments
Are you wondering what happened last night at the Globe iPhone 3G Countdown Launch Party?
Try to the watch the archived (live) streaming of the event at Qik and Bambuser! The Qik stream was captured through a Nokia E71 while the Bambuser stream was created through my Sony Ericsson P990i.
Capturing photos was somewhat hard for my SE P990i’s had a weird reaction adjusting to the lights and all so I just thought that it would be much better to stream the event live. The connection I had used was one of the 5 free WiFi access points that Globe provided during the event at Ayala Tower One.
So how about you? Are you planning to get an iPhone too or do you have one already? :)

August 14, 2008 · Comments
Just this morning, I got an announcement email from Biz Stone, the Co-founder of Twitter, saying that there’ll be changes on the SMS updates service on Twitter.
So what’s the good news and bad news? The message started with the bad one: Twitter will no longer deliver outbound SMS over its UK number! Yes, it’s the very feature why some organizations applied Twitter for their system of communication by just letting their members subscribe to their main account and the Twitter SMS updates shall be delivered to their members for free.
There was actually a bit of good news that followed it – Twitter shall be starting some local SMS numbers in countries throughout Europe. Well, I guess the good news was not enough to cover for the terrible bad news. Whilst it’s true that this change of service was not really unexpected (because there’s no free lunch all the time), I just hope there’ll be a Twitter SMS gateway specifically made for the Philippines or perhaps phTwitters can do something on their service to make that feature available again.
