Is Samsung eyeing to get Sandisk?

The Associated Press today reported that Samsung is seeking to acquire Sandisk, citing a report by a South Korean newspaper.

This will be an interesting development since, according to AP’s news,

The Milpitas, California-based company is the world’s largest supplier of flash storage card products.

Samsung is the world’s largest manufacturer of NAND as well as DRAM, or dynamic random access memory, chips.
