Globe Telecom to sell iPhone 3G for P41,899

Contrary to what Apple proclaims about the iPhone 3G (Twice as fast. Half the price.), Philippine telco today announced in an investors briefing that the company will sell the phone at a starting price of P41,899.

According to an Inquirer.net report, the 8GB model will carry that price tag while the 16GB version will be priced at P48,899.

Globe will launch both models on Aug. 22.
