Supreme Court website slow as a snail after issuance of TRO

The Supreme Court website is on a snail’s pace today, immediately after the tribunal issued a temporary restraining order on the signing of an agreement concerning ancestral domain of Filipinos in Southern Philippines.

In the meantime, journalists and other folks who wish to quickly download the TRO should go here.

If going to the site is a pain, wait till you attempt to download the decision containing the TRO in the “New Decisions and Resolutions” portion. It took me about twenty minutes to download the six-page PDF document. Try downloading it by clicking here. Read more »»

Information overload is upon us. That means we need more storage. Fortunately, digital storage has become cheaper by the day. A terabyte is not so uncommon anymore. With multimedia rapidly becoming digitized, the demand for more space is rising. I deal with storage daily, may it be work related or personal. I have a habit of preserving every single byte of data that comes across my way, therefore I also have a habit of looking for new ways to preserve my data as well as conserve on cost. Read more »»
