Filipino programmers, don’t miss out on the eBay Developer Challenge 2008, where you can win up to $25,000. You can make a difference in the bustling business of over 200 million eBay users.
To join the Challenge, you start by registering for a free developer account at eBay’s Developer Program and code a useful eBay application using:
- Javascript (JavaScript, JSON, AJAX)
- Flash (ActionScript, Flex)
- PHP (PHP, Perl, Python)
- Windows (.NET, C#, ASP, VB)
- Java (Java, JSP)
Sure you’ll be competing with eBay developers from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand aside from top Pinoy coders but that just means you have to be extra innovative. Your concept can cover affiliate programs, mobile apps, tools to help buyers choose, tools to help sellers manage their inventories and shipping, help sellers communicate with bidders or buyers.
