Sony Ercisson C905 Cyber-shot 8.1 megapixel phone

While most people are still stuck with the news about Apple’s release of the iPhone, here comes a competitor which is the new “talk of the town”.
Just two weeks ago, it was a rumor. Came June 17, the Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-Shot phone became real.
The rumors shocked the mobile world, more so when the actual specifications of this high mega pixel mobile phone was released.
According to Sony Ericsson’s website, here’s what you can expect from this monster cam phone:
- Complete digital camera experience on a phone – true digital camera styling and an 8.1 megapixel camera with Xenon flash
- Outstanding picture quality – complete with face detection auto-focus, smart contrast and image stabilizer
- From baby’s first steps to an amazing sunset; store them all on the 2GB Memory Stick Micro™ (M2®) included
- The USB adaptor (CCR-70) provided in-box allows for easy transfer of your photos to-and-from your PC.
- View high-quality pictures on the phones impressive 2.4” scratch-resistant mineral glass display
- Share your memories – send your photos wirelessly from your phone to your TV via Wi-Fi™ (using DLNA), or connect with wires using the TV-Out Cable ITC-60, also announced today
- Upload photos to your own online blogsite or print your photos with fantastic resolution up to A3 size
- Much more than a camera phone – GPS-enabled for geo-tagging of photos and navigation support.
Isn’t this baby packed or what?
But will consumers buy it? Why not? It has the best that Sony Ericsson can give and all the neat stuff you need from a phone, plus this high resolution camera which currently, can only be seen on digital or video cameras. But once Sony Ericsson releases this cam phone, people will have a choice of either buying two gadgets – a mobile phone and a camera/digicam – or the SE C905 Cyber-shot – “all-in-one”.
With its large and better picture quality, I just hope the final version comes with a bigger internal memory.
The SE C905 Cyber-shot phone will be released in September.
